Clinical indication
The B·R·A·H·M·S Free β hCG KRYPTOR test is an automated immunofluorescent assay for the quantitative determination of the concentration of free β hCG (free beta subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin hormone) in human serum. The B·R·A·H·M·S Free βhCG KRYPTOR test is indicated as an aid to be used in conjunction with other clinical and diagnostic findings for non-invasive risk assessment of fetal trisomy 21, 18, and 13 in first trimester and for fetal trisomy 21 and 18 in second trimester in pregnant women.
